JenX Youth Hub International in the month of July, held its maiden Board of Directors meeting in to officially induct into office all Board of Directors. The meeting, held on Sunday 18th July brought together all six members of the board in virtual means, including the founder himself.
At the meeting, a self-inducted swearing-in ceremony was conducted to officially place in position all Board Directors and the Board Chair. All the six board members, after going through their induction process voted unanimously through all forms of virtual means to endorse Mrs. Winifred Nana Yaa Otoo and Lady Michelle Owusu-Ansah for the positions of Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of JenX Youth Hub International after their appointment by the JenX stakeholder’s board.
Six Committees were formed to support running of the foundation with board of directors as the Chairs of the various committees. The committees are:
– Finance/Risk Management Committee
– Communication/Advertising Committee
– Investment/Fundraising Committee
– Programs/ Planning Committee
– Executive/Administration Committee and
– Ethical/Cultural Balance committee.
In His address at the meeting, the Board Chairman pledged to work tirelessly with all Board of Directors to ensure the realization of the foundation’s major objectives. Particularly, he shared his desire and passion to run programs that will be helpful in tapping into the potential of the youth on the street. He spoke about the street wisdom they have gained and the resilience they have built as tools to activate their hope of becoming better people in society.
Mrs. Winifred Nana Yaa Otoo, in her address at the meeting extended her profound gratitude to all the board members for having approved her and Lady Michelle Owusu Ansah to be at the forefront in stirring the affairs of the foundation. She pledged to stay committed to her duties and ensure that all that have been dreamt of come to fruition. The two Executive Members also took turns in briefing the Board about the programs of JenX Youth Hub International and the Calendar year for the rest of 2022.
